Overview
Falcshaw was founded durring the early 14th century in summer of the year 1332, by Glkesh vyim Yuvnoyutsɪxt. The establishment of Falcshaw was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Falcshaw's construction back out of the project. Glkesh vyim Yuvnoyutsɪxt pushed on reguardles, and Falcshaw was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Falcshaw was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Falcshaw is no diffrent. The metropolis's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Falcshaw is is constructed arround a series of broad gravel mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The riverside metropolis is defended by arcane means. It's hard to spot at first, but there's a tell tell shimmer in the air arround Falcshaw, and you can spot the ocasional warding glyph carved into a rock or tree all arround town. These mystical defences are ancient, unknowable, and unassailable by current means... Assuming everything is in working order. Otherwise, the wards are little more than a deathtrap. Astonishigly, the Relic of the World That Was are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.
Right off the bat Falcshaw hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this metropolis has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The metropolis is very clearly a joyfull place as well as wealthy. Music can be heard often, as well as laughter. The smell of food and drink permiates the air. You can’t help but smile.

Points of Interest
Falcshaw was unknowingly built atop something unstable, and now that substrate is crumbling. It may be swampy ground or a decaying coastline, or it could be an ancient buried city that’s now giving way. In the case of some antique habitation, the denizens that once lived there might be boiling upward as their home is collapsing, or new opportunities may be revealed even as the community’s present structure is ruined.
Falcshaw is known for its odd use of round-a-bouts, small ring roads used in place of intersections.
POI
History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century Lake Bedo began to boil, and released a thick toxic cloud from beneath its waters which was isolated to the area around Falcshaw, which was swallowed by the fumes for several days. Falcshaw lost 279 people, 100 livestock, and 37 buildings in the disaster, though it is of note the local plant life flourished after the disaster. The disaster is referred to as the Heartache Wind.
